Custom Automation and Turnkey solutions

We design and fabricate single station and multiple station automation equipment that will make or assemble your components or assemblies.  Our services include design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and validation of the entire design.  

Machine Design and Building

We can integrate and include automation solutions like inspection stations, vision systems, robots, printers, heat seals, welding heads, and other specialized functions We fabricate the  machinery in-house giving us full schedule control and the ability to iterate quickly.

Fixture Design and Fabrication

We design and build custom fixtures.  Fixtures can be for part holding for assembly or other processing, for CNC machining operations or other subtractive processing, or for quality control testing or metrology including go/no go testing and fit checking.    Fixtures can incorporate motors or actuators for gripping or moving.  

Tooling Design

We design and fabricate tooling including end effectors for industrial robots, diamond grinding tools, unique hand tools, specialized mechanical devices, or packaging heat seal or forming tooling. 

Machine Controls

We design the control cabinets for our machinery.  The cabinets normally include industrial PLCs (programmable logic controller) and HMIs (human-machine interface) for robust control.  We use control hardware from Automation Direct unless your company requires a different make.  The UX for the HMI or control panel is designed to suit your labor force, from having functions password protected and icons in lieu of text, to full access to control functions and settings. 

Testing and Documentation

You get the complete design package for your machine, including all engineering drawings, schematics, and programs.  While we are happy to provide spare and replacement parts, you will have the information needed to source replacement parts as you wish.  We can provide equipment manuals per your needs.  We support your FAT (factory acceptance test) at our facility and have even performed remote video FATs.  Additional validation services are available.
